Rental qualifications
Here's what we look for in a rental application. We evaluate every application individually. If you have questions, just give us a call.
What we look for
✓Minimum 1 year of current, verifiable rental history
✓Income of at least 3x the monthly rent
✓Stable employment or income history
✓No eviction filings in the past 5 years
✓No open bankruptcies; no more than 1 filed in the past 5 years
✓Ability to pass a background check
✓Ability to turn on or transfer utilities in your name
Credit
How important is credit? Less than you'd think.
We do not require a minimum credit score. We evaluate each application individually and look for positive credit history overall.

Government-issued photo ID — state ID, driver's license, or passport
Proof of income — recent pay stubs, benefits letter, or bank statements
Proof of positive rental payment history
Recent utility bill — with a balance under $400
Social Security card or tax identification number

What does it cost to move in?
Application fee$0There's no fee to apply.
Security depositReserves the home for up to 2 weeksPay by money order or cashier's check at our office, or at any Rent Money location — ACE Cash Express, Walmart, Kroger, Superlo.
First month's rentDue on or before move-inSecond month is prorated to your move-in date. Paid the same way as your deposit.
Due to processing time, deposits and first month's rent can't be paid online — pay by money order or cashier's check at our office, or at a Rent Money location near you.
